Phantom Hymn - The Future as Nightmare
I'll have a post soon detailing some of what I've been listening to in quarantine, but I wanted to make sure to give this a nudge. Phantom Hymn is a one-person neocrust band (so, admittedly, I'm biased in their favor already, as that is exactly my jam) but, for real, this is some of the best stuff I've heard recently. It's absolutely blistering hardcore with atmospheric elements layered over it just beautifully. It's produced well, the songwriting is top-notch, and it's NYP on top of that.
